Michigan State Spartans head coach Tom Izzo hugs basketball hall a famer Earvin Magic Johnson in celebration. As the Spartans eliminate the Louisville Cardinals 64-52 to advance to the Final Four in Detroit.
The Spartans just out played the Cardinals from start to finish and forced them play out of character. Louisville didn't have an answer offensively or defensively.
Michigan State is surely a clear favorite to win it all now considering they have home court advantage in both games. With their campus being less than 90 miles away from Detroit.
It's presumed that they'll have over 60,000 fans at Fords field when they take on the Uconn Huskies.
The Huskies will surely have their hands full with a Spartan team who's playing their best basketball at the right time. Not to mention the crowd support they'll practically have being so close to East Lancing.
In the other Final Four match up, we have the high scoring, high flying North Carolina Tar Heels playing the battle tested and defense first Villanova Wildcats. Who barely escaped pass the Pittsburg Pathers in a nail biter in the elite eight.
The Wildcats and Huskies are from what was arguably the best conference during the regular season, the Big East.
Both games should be very exciting and entertaining but I have North Carolina and Michigan State advancing to the national championship game and North Carolina being crowned our national champion.
Well enjoy the rest of the games and this is my last post. So I hoped you enjoyed my insight.
